Ingredients

  • 1 cup Singada flour
  • 3 tsp. Gee or butter
  • 1/4 cup of sugar




METHOD

Usually Gaer Poor is usually eaten on fast day. Because of health reasons some people prefer Tava Poor instead of fried Poor.
People with diabetes can use Splenda or salt instead of Sugar

 

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Add 1/8 cup of water and kneed it
  • Add water little by little till it becomes thick flour ball
  • Kneed well
  • Cut in to 5 equal portions
  • Take one portion on your hand and make small roti with hands
  • Put Tawa on stove on medium heat.
  • Once Tawa is hot cook small roti type poori on medium heat like roti.
  • Cook both sides till it is crisp and well-done.

Serve with hot cup of tea.
