METHOD
- In a cup add one Tbsp. of warm water add saffron strands to it.
- Mix well and keep aside
- Take a Pan with two cups of water, turn on the stove on a medium heat.
- Boil water and add cinnamon stick, crushed cardamom & cloves, mix well and let water boil approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Color of water starts changing to brownish.
- Lower the flame, add crushed Kehwa tea leaves to boiling water mix
- Let it boil again for 2 to 3 minutes
- Strain the tea in a deep Bowl using a strainer
- Transfer mixture in to a sauce pan.
- Add saffron water to boiling water and add Sugar, mix well.
- Add almonds, mix well
- Kehwa is ready.
For Garnish:
In a serving cup, add pinch of cardamom powder, 3 strands of saffron, pinch of cinnamon powder and 2 tsp. crushed Almonds, pour hot Kehwa on it and serve.
