Ingredients

  • 2 cups of Rice flour.
  • ½ tsp salt or as per taste
  • ¼ tsp ajwain (carom seeds) (optional).
  • ½ tsp. Black Zeera
  • 2 tsp. Pure ghee (optional).
  • Hot water for kneading.




METHOD

  • Add salt, black zeera and ajwain in flour.
  • Add hot water to the flour little by little
  • knead flour till soft dough is formed.
  • Pick up a chunk of soft dough, make it round ball between your palms and flatten it into a round shape by your palms in the shape of a chapatti
  • Preheat tawa on a medium heat and put the chapatti on it. Now turn it upside down till it is done or cooked. Turn it again on other side till that side is cooked.
  • If you want to apply ghee, you can apply it at this step. (optional)
  • Tomul chott is ready to enjoy with kehwa or sheer chai
