Ingredients

  • Chana Dal                    1 Cup
  • Soya granules                            2 Cups
  • Chopped Onion                        ¼ Cup
  • Garlic paste                                1 Tbs
  • Ginger paste                              1 Tbs
  • Green Cilantro                          1 Tbs
  • Lemon Juice                               1Tbs
  • Red Pepper Powder        3 Tbs
  • Coriander Powder   2 tsp.
  • Garam Masala                           2 tsp.
  • Chopped Green Chili      1 tsp.
  • Cumin Powder                 1 tsp.
  • Mango Powder                         1 tsp.
  • All-purpose flour      2 Tbs.
  • Corn flour or Starch 1 Tbs.
  • Salt                                     1Tbs or as per taste.
  • Oil for frying                               2 cups

METHOD

Method:

  1. Soak Chana Dal for 4 hrs. (drain water after 4 hrs.)
  2. Soak Soya Granules for an hour in hot water. (drain water completely after 1 hr.)
  3. Add Chana Dal, onion, garlic, Fresh Ginger, Green Dhania & Lemon Juice in a blender or Mixer and mix it together (make a paste)
  4. Add Soaked soya granules to the mixture and give a good mix together. (remember DO NOT add water)
  5. Take out this mixture in a big bowl and Mix above ingredients from #8 to #17
  6. Knead well.
  7. Take small portion in a hand and put it on skewer evenly. When all the skewers are ready ten refrigerate it for an hour.
  8. Put deep Pan or Karahi on the stove on medium heat.
  9. Make sure oil is hot on medium flame.
  10. Take out 3 or 4 skewers at a time from the refrigerator and deep fried on medium heat till skewers turns in to deep golden-brown color.
  11. Veg. Kabobs are ready to eat and serve with red onion s and green chatni.
