Ingredients

  • 1lb Fish cut into 3-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Tomato Puree
  • 2 tsp Tandoori Masala Powder
  • 3 cloves Garlic peeled & chopped
  • 1 tsp. Ginger peeled & chopped
  • 1 -2 Green Chilies chopped
  • 1Tbsp. Oil
  • Salt as per taste




METHOD

  • Mix yogurt, turmeric powder, tomato puree, tandoori masala powder, garlic, ginger, green chilis and salt together
  • Blend them to a smooth paste.
  • Pour this over the fish pieces and keep them aside for 1 to 3 hours.
  • Grill the fish in electric tandoor for 20 mins on both sides (if you do not have Tandoor then
  • Broil it in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes on both sides.
  • Or heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium flame.
  • Add the marinated fish pieces and cook for 15 to 20 minute or until cooked and browned.
  • Turn the fish pieces from time to time so that they are evenly cooked.
  • Remove and drain excess oil.
  • Serve hot with lemon slices and onion salad.
