Sabudana kheer is a delicious fasting item that is processed food and full of pure starch. Here is the healthy & easiest recipe to cook sabudana kheer at home.
Directions:
• Rinse Sabudana, soak it for an hour at least & put saffron in a small cup & put 2 tbs. hot water. Put it aside.
• Take heavy bottom pan and put sabudana in it.
• Add water & Turn on stove on medium high heat.
• Cook until transparent and sobudana is softened. Check the doneness by biting few pearls & should not be hard or chewy.
• Add Milk and stir. Let it boil at least 8 -10 minutes till it thickens little bit.
• Add Cardamom Powder and Sugar. Add Saffron mixture.
• Let it cook until the kheer turns thick.
• It usually thickens upon cooling.
• Garnish with Chopped nuts.
Kheer is ready to serve.
